CRAVE PETFOOD

I was brought in to help BBDO design and launch the website for Mars Petcare's new brand Crave. Aligning to the brand's campaign spots, I developed stylistic mood-boards and concept decks to plan execution ideas. I presented ideas to clients and received buy-in on using a parallax hero concept. I shipped the creative for this website and developed a style guide to inform design standards for final release.

Concept

Your pet is a carnivore at heart: Give them a meal that they’re hardwired to crave.

Look and Feel

The concept focuses on dark tones with subtle color accents, giving it a bold, energetic, and heroic vibe. The imagery is designed to connect pets to their primal, ancestral traits, using outdoor shots, close-ups of animal features, and nature. There’s a mix of lifestyle photography showing pets being active outdoors. In some cases, photos may be in black-and-white, with selective color elements to emphasize specific details.

Spec Sheet

Included in handoff with developers is a set of clear, technical guidelines for implementing our design. It includes details on layout, typography, colors, and branding, along with asset specifications and interaction guidelines for buttons, hover states, and animations. It also outlines how components should behave responsively across different devices, ensuring consistency and accuracy in translating the design into a functional product.
